Ease of Maintenance

To
remove most minor scratches, light nicotine stains or
permanent marker, use an abrasive cleaner or abrasive pad in a
circular motion. After buffing wipe counter thoroughly
with soap and water or a gentle cleaner.

Deep
scratches will require sanding lightly with 120 grit sandpaper
followed by 220, and 320 grit sandpaper. Use a circular
motion with a wet abrasive pad.

All
Solitex Solid Surface materials are "post cured" for
2 hours at 200 degrees (F), eliminating expansion,
contraction, fading, blistering, and cracking.

Solitex
uses an acrylic modified resin, which offers an unsurpassed
shock and thermal resistance (less likely to crack if
something is dropped on the top or if the top is exposed to
large temperature differences).

Solitex
has exceeded all A.N.S.I. standards in tests conducted by
Reichold Laboratories (test compared Solitex to 2 Major Solid
Surface manufactures). Solitex either met or exceeded both
brands in every test.

also has a Class A fire rating.

sheets are poured to exact dimensions needed, reducing waste
and costs to the customer.
Sink
Bowls
-
Bowls
come in the granite colors to match the countertops. We
currently offer eight bowls that can be mixed and matched to
create more possible combinations.

Our
sink bowls can be poured in any of our colors with the
exception of colors containing large chips. Our sink bowls are
poured out of the same batch of material as the sheet goods it
will be set in, for an exact color match. This is critical for
creating a monolithic bowl and top look.
